Folks, it's all good: the result of us all being here due to events of the past, that is. Every ethnicity is fine. Of course, some history can be a bummer, but, we're all here now as a result - & that's just fine by me, thank God.° Now a DNA test can help one determine some of one's ethnic make up, but some may escape detection; so, a test can be used to prove inclusion, but can't be used to prove exclusion. See, one doesn't necessarily inherit a little bit of everything from each parent due to a process called recombination that occurs. Full syblings - even twins - can, & often do get different results (same for 1st cousins that share one grandparent, but one cousin might not have inherited much or any ethnic markers from that grandparent, yet the ancestral link is still 100%; so, the cousin without the marker detected - whether the marker exists or not - can claim the same ethnic ancestry as the one with the detected marker). The Autosomal-DNA tests used here can only point out some fairly-recent ancestry (& these are merely guesstimations based upon a testing company's own database & algorythms - & choice of which segments of DNA to examine for ethnic markers; &, each company makes different choices & has a different database). For a more full overview, one can: • Test more known relatives • Get tested by various companies • Take an mtDNA test (for fairly-far back maternal-line haplogroup with theorized migratory path)* • A male can take a Y-DNA test (for very-far back paternal-line haplogroup with theorized migratory path)* • Find a company that will do a complete DNA analysis ($$$) - or at least find one that will look a bit deeper than the companies only offering recent ancestry breakdowns** Among things I've been told - true or not - is that MyHeritageDNA may be better with European-related results than AncestryDNA is, but AncestryDNA may be better with African-related results (again, I dunno for sure). If one can afford it, then I'd recommend being tested by each, plus CRI Genetics (Recent & Advanced Ancestry Analyses) - & mtDNA testing (w/Y-DNA testing if possible) via FamilyTreeDNA (& perhaps others). 23&Me has had a lot of security-related issues, otherwise it appears to be another decent choice. * = mtDNA & Y-DNA testing is offered by many companies, but as far as haplogroup detail is concerned, FamilyTreeDNA is perhaps the best (but I hear that they're the worst with just about everything else... of course, my info may be dated as folk can improve over time) ** = CRI Genetics offers a Recent Ancestry Analysis & will look deeper if one also orders an Advanced Ancestry Analysis ° = Folk, you know that some folk are rotten & others a delight - & there are yet some others that fall somewhere in between these two extremes; plus, folk can change or act one way with some & another way with others, or else flip-flop to fit varying circumstances; for, this seems to be human nature. Now adding to the mix we have politics/government & social pressures; so, an individual may end up doing something he'd rather not do - & probably wouldn't have ever done on his own - due to these other factors; for, now it might be his duty to kill - or even commit outright murder - folk he might not even know (or face being executed himself for disobeying a command); so IMO, we ought to keep such in mind when looking at the past (as well as the present).

Not all Latinos are Hispanic. Many speak Portuguese, French, Italian, & Romanian. Latin is the base/root of the aforementioned languages.
